May 4, 2026 is the deadline to register to vote in the 2026 primary election.
Pennsylvania residents must be registered to vote at least 15 days before an election. You can register, update your address, or change your party affiliation online through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
You can register or update your voter information if you:

Are a U.S. citizen

Are at least 18 years old on or before Election Day

Have lived in your election district for at least 30 days
If you are not a U.S. citizen and a resident of Pennsylvania at least 30 days before the next election, you CANNOT register to vote.

- If you decide not to vote by mail after receiving a ballot, you may take your ENTIRE ballot package—including the envelope—with you to your polling place to surrender and have it spoiled.
