Norristown Area School District
If you live in East Norriton, decisions made by the Norristown Area School District directly impact your property taxes, local economy, and the overall quality of life in the community. School board meetings provide transparency into how funds are allocated, what policies are being implemented, and how student outcomes are being addressed.
Attending gives you a voice in discussions that affect shared resources, regional reputation, and long-term community stability. Showing up and asking questions ensures that leadership remains accountable to the broader community the district serves.
Being engaged at the school district level is one of the most effective ways to influence the future of your area!
Work Sessions are held the 3rd Monday of each month, unless there is a district holiday. Regular Voting Meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month, unless there is district holiday.
Agendas are published the Friday before a meeting by 3:00 PM. Meeting Minutes are reviewed at the next meeting and are published after approval.
You can find NASD agendas and meetings at the NASD website.Â
Monthly Meeting of Norristown Republican Committee
Join us each month for an evening of local engagement, leadership, and collaboration.
At 7:00 p.m., the municipal Republican committees for Norristown, East Norriton, and West Norriton hold their individual meetings—an opportunity to connect directly with your township’s leadership, stay informed on local priorities, and find ways to get involved.
At 7:30 p.m., all three committees come together for a combined Area 8 Meeting, where we collaborate across municipalities, share updates, and align efforts to strengthen our communities.
Whether you’re new or already involved, this is your chance to build relationships, stay informed, and take an active role in shaping the future of your local Norristown Republican movement.
Join us and be part of the momentum.
